And as we all know. That wouldn't be a pretty sight. If we win at Stormont you may regret getting Andy Clement and I those tickets for the T20 internationals at Old Trafford a couple of days later.
Ivan,
You have clearly been in the sun too long or had far too much Vodka!!!!
If Ireland beat England at Stormont I will run round Moylena naked after our last match of the season.

After watching that lethargic England performance yesterday v West Indies in the T2O and assuming they get hammered by the resurgent Aussies this summer should we be starting to think of an historic treble at Stormont on 27 August. We stuffed England at Windsor Park we stuffed them at Croke Park so why can't we stuff them at cricket. I see the tickets go on sale today for what could be a real "I was there " event. Looking at the Irish squad that's in South Africa plus the one's that didn't make it I don't think Ireland will be turning up at Stormont just to go through the motions. So why don't we start now planning a real carnival day for every cricket lover in the country.Let's get the fancy dress section full ,let's show the Barmy Army that they have meet there match with the Blarney Army.

There are others better placed than I to comment but it has to be remembered that first and foremost the guys all pay for their own trip.
There were a number of appeals for players who wished to travel to India to make themselves known so it most definitely wasn't a closed shop. By and large we try to take as strong a team as possible and people who have travelled before usually are the first names down to tour. As such the team starts to take shape. So for example you can't take 8 wicketkeepers with you you tend to select the best and the first to commit to travel.
The Grasshoppers are very keen to widen the net across clubs and indeed regions. In India there were a number of first time tourists who seemed to enjoy the experience. We came up against a number of First Class cricketers in India so obviously we would prefer as strong a team as possible.
I would say to anyone who is playing a decent standard of club cricket to get involved and tour with the UG. It's an experience you won't forget.
See on the BBC website that someone stole the cash machine in Dundrum last night. Cheltenham not going well Jeff?

Hughesy - I am not sure my "swing and a miss" in nets is good training for any bowler!!
Fabulous to share a hotel, the lovely Cidade de Goa, with the Ulster Grasshoppers, they were a great bunch of lads and my husband and I looked forward each day to hear how they'd got on, a real credit
Enjoyed the articles about the Grasshoppers India tour but are the Grasshoppers really all-inclusive as suggested or does it go what level or what club you play with? Is there a selection policy? Seems as if its very clique and matey...
Just an observation.
Re : John Campbell
John, I can confirm that Thinus has joined CI for the forth coming season. He will definitely bring something extra to the team with both bat and ball. Hopefully we can ruffle a few more feathers than we did last year!
