Tongue firmly in the cheek Jeff. All the boys have moved on with best wishes. Some have international aspirations and the closest you'll get to an international at Mallusk is the airport
Froggy
Good to hear you are going to be back playing this year - the talk is Bod has been spotted in a portadown gym and will also be good for 10 overs!!
Maybe see you in the record club some saturday night!
Hope to face some of your left arm wobblers during a sunny summer!
Danny
robin, you in for spray tan or sunbed?

havent ran it past our exec. yet davy but if our grounds free any sundays during the season im sure we could accommodate your club.i remember some epic battles between the 2 clubs with g brophy, the patterson brothers, kylie big dros, grant elliott,jt all to the fore against an up and coming north down team.some wonderful times good luck for the season and keep in touch.
horse racing tips. eway lucky 15 wingman 140 ascot, mendo wincanton310 .dreamy sweeeney ascot 245, murphys cardinal 430 haydock. i like good prices but think askazar at 3 1 is the NAP , good luck
big davy. dont be harsh on players moving on as each club trys its best about playing in a standard too keep everyone happy , now that im retired i can honestly say that it doesnt matter how big a club or section you play in as its the ENJOYMENT& FREINDS that matters as much as winning & ive no doubt Cliftonville will survive no matter were they play & tell u this fair play too yous last year losing in DOWN DEMOCRAT cup in Dundrum last year as premier side yous went back too Dundrum inn & done your club PROUD as its easy too leave early when team has lost.ps rumour has it the golden oldie Alan Neill is going too too return too his HOMETOWN too play againest us? ( no UMPIRE mate would dare give alan out or he might even be timed out getting out too the square.
Rhino
yes Rhino, looks like the old left arm will have to be rolled out at some stage this season, the rest of the body rolls year round by itself.
Yes mate, that's my real name, being the perennial number 11 at Cliftonville , batting opportunities where always limited . Anyone checking the scorebook would think my name was Bowled Hamilton haha

Thanks for the support lads, we know it will be tough , but any league is only as good as the competition in it. Section one was tough work, our ground problems had left us going into games undercooked and many established senior cricketers had gone stale. We will have a younger, hungrier team and are confident we can hold our own in section two.
Jeff
Thanks for the message of support from the 'drum. hopefully we will be able to give you a match this season now that the 'toogoods' have moved on
Dan
i've been applying the wd40 to the joints for weeks now and i'll be good for ten overs come may, bad news for my decrepid limbs, worse news for you poor batsmen
Paul
I hadn't realised you studied history ! I'm sure the trip will be brilliant. You will find the hospitality is incredible out there, and you'll be treated like royalty. Enjoy.
Just want to add my support and best wishes to Cliftonville C.C and their continued battle for survival, on this forum there have been many critics who seem to enjoy kicking this club when they are down and I find that appalling to be honest. All our clubs are facing their own problems and nobody knows what is around the corner, some would do well to remember that.
Always enjoyed playing at Greenisland and their players are all top blokes as seen in the 2007 season when Armagh played them twice and enjoyed a late night chewin the fat after the Sunday fixture on the Mall.
Just want to say well done to Cliftonville on fighting the good fight! I hope they have a good season in the face of so many problems.
wish the grasshoppers all the best with ex Dundrum player Ray mccavery ( he definitly will enjoy pre match socialising & is the 2nd Dundrum player to tour Alan Neill (now theres a bloke could play & enjoy himself) put him Andy Clement with a beer it would be a LONG GOOD NIGHT might even get odd cricket story.Dundrum wish Cliftonville all the best at mallusk.
Simon
Thank you for your best wishes for the tour. Hopefully India will be ready for the Grasshoppers unique style of touring.
Unlike Singapore immigration officials a few years back who were under orders to protect the local population from undesirable Western trends. The unacceptably long hair of two young Oxford University cricketers meant a haircut or face being deported. I believe one of those young men was one Simon Corlett!
