A quick to note to let everyone know that Woodvale CC has today launched a new website. www.woodvalecricketclub.com
The website has all the usual information tabs but also contains detailed stats functionality that will allow us to complete scorecards and reports, auto mailing to newspapers, NCU, etc as well as automatically creating averages.
In this first edition we have an article on the current groundwork being undertaken.
I would like to express our gratitude to Rodney Hassard for developing the site. If anyone needs advice on setting up websites Woodvale CC would strongly recommend getting in touch with Rodney.
Guys
Just so you all know, Muckamore Cricket Club have now launched their new website.
Checi it out......

Interesting to read an article suggesting Ed Joyce is ready to resume his Ireland career when he has served his 4 years in the wilderness...
Simmons hasnt ruled out a return to World Cup duty for a certain Mr McCallen either... that would be excellent!
Hello Vic , another good turn out at indoor nets , very encouraging to see a few prodigal sons returning to the fold
and even better your bowling is improving with only 3 out of 6 wide , well done Vic !!!!
RE Matty Henderson
Juan Theron for Punjab Kings XI is indeed the pro CIYMS had signed for 2009 season before Western Province wouldnt release him due to an injury.
was watching ipl yesterday and noticed punjab kings star performer was a certain juan theron, was this the same guy who was meant to be CIYMS pro last year?
I am saddened to hear the death of Alain Waite's Father. We are all thinking of you at this difficult time.
Sadly Vic Johnny is my silly name and the one i was given at birth - bummer that i know. I guess it could have been worse had it been caleb or romeo............heaven forbid!
Vic - your 'wide' off the mark assumption is allegedly a bit like your bowling i hear........keep biting the hook as no doubt Greg is loving it. Howzat Mr Umpire? - thats out!
Well Greg,I soon called Mr Johnny's bluff back !
Wonder what silly name he'll come up with next time to haunt poor Vic, but never mind he always gives it away when he calls me 'Johns'!! He won't listen; just like YOU!!!!!
Andy, like I've said before,it was fine the way it was; the umpires out in the middle made the 'calls' end off!
Why change it,break-up the continuity of the game, undermine the umpires decision making to a point and put them under unneccessary scrutiny : Why??
And BTW any team that puts one over Glenavon,(and that's not hard) has done a good job. I'm not from Lurgan and at least there should be a good turn-out at early season games for Victoria!!
Unless their watch'en the play-off for last place with Lisburn Distillary!!!!
Andy , Vic is more a Moira Albion fan than a Lurgan blue yes an all of Lurgan hope that Ballymena reach the cup final for obvious reasons !!!
Vic its been a bad day for you being called a Glenavon supporter and johnny calling your bluff hehe !!!!
Ballymena Academy - Schools' Cup + Ballymena Utd for the Irish Cup - won't mention the last round in order to save Vic's feelings. Have a bit of a worry about the new technology alright - Drumaness-v-Ards for example could be a real problem especially with hawk-eye! Think I'll take my chances!
Johnny?? Would you be a 'Jock' by any chance!!!! I thought you had.... 'retired-hurt'?
No such luck!!!!!
Just to correct my previous post regarding Gerald bowling an Irish International player.
The team was actually Bangor and not North,it was some time in the 70's in the Senior Cup. The batsman who Gerald had caught for 8 runs was a Chris Harte No 3 bat.
Incidently Gerald tells me his figures for that match were:
15 for 3 of 12 overs, not bad for a then Senior 3 bowler against a Senior 1 team including an Irish International scalp and as I said Gerald was 48 at the time!
