I am a norn iron man, not anti english like you. But you need to listen to the norn iron commentators and the media here and you will see exactly the same thing. When we win we're great, when we lose its hush hush. Even the riots in Belfast during the Poland match were blamed on the Poles. I know for a fact it was norn iron men started it. If you hate the English so much, either stop taking the handouts from the English tax payers that are keeping this country afloat, or change the record. Keep your anti English ravings to yourself, we are all sick to the teeth of it.
I'm sure Nile Smith will recall the fairy tale of the King's New Clothes. Why does the English media remind me of that story? I would have the occasional flutter and my very, very limited success is based on short odds. Writing this at 9:40 a.m. and I predict a Sri Lanka win today. But don't just take my word for it - a certain Mr. Toal is of the same opinion!! I suggest you get on them before the odds shorten.
Andy K of Upper Buckna - do you have an inferiority complex about England and the English?
what odds will jeff give on SriLanka/ That guy Mendis looks a bit different. Aussies coming off the back of a 6-1 series win must be in with a shout. Predict England giving the Windies & the black caps a run for it - the wooden spoon that is.
Yes Jeff I'd be handy to have there in case Staffy turned up and didn't know any of the boys who haven't played in the paid ranks (Premier league for the uninitiated).

Why is William Porterfield so keen for Ireland to play in the PRO 40 competition next year when he and the other Irish county players will be in the county teams? Doesn't make much sense. What the Irish captain needs to understand is that county cricket and international cricket are two different things even if we need quality opposition. If we want to rise in the ICC stakes then we need to play test teams. Winning the odd match against a county means nothing these days.
I couldn't let the occasion pass without referring to the retirement of Peter White as reported in the local press. Peter umpired with a sense of humour (well it is neede for some of the things that we see & hear) and impartiality. And he never tired of hearing - and laughing at - the story about Kasprovich & himself. Cheers big man.
