Does anyone know if there are any warm up matches for the t20 in the carribean, I'll be in St Lucia at the start of April for my honeymoon and I might suggest to the wife that it would be nice to see the local cricket ground and if there just happened to be a game on it'd be a complete coincidence!
Does anyone know of any coaching courses being run round Northern Ireland?
Davey if you are there, introduce yourself after the game, both Gerald & I are very regonisable & approachable, might even sign you an autograph if we have the time !
I won't miss that Vic!
That's great Clarence, take it the weather is pleasant out there in April ?
Don't put yourself to alot of bother, the garden shed will do rightly!
Davey the Waringstown-man: Alot of top quality players at your club alright, but don't forget to pencil in the 8th/9th of June at the lawn if your free, some 'legends' of yester-year on show, some coming out of retirement and some still playing!!!
(Waringstown 5th's-v-Victoria 3rd's)
My dream might be coming true. Hutchy looks like he is coming to Waringstown. I hear he has the choice to come. That means Hall and Hutchinson opening the batting and in my opinion that will be the stongest opening partnership in the league!
Davy would also like to wish Cliftonville the very best for forthcoming season and the future. Great bunch of lads who are working soo hard to keep the club going in what is hard times.u's are certainly are bogey team and I hope that isnt the case this season!
Sat. 2.45pm,
WE'RE GOING TO THE WEST-INDIES ! WHEY-HEY,HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!!
NEVER DOUBTED IT FOR A SECOND !!!
'Pistol Pete Connell, Andrew White and young George Dock'''
NEED I SAY ANYMORE ????
Wow! Afghanistan have qualifyed for the world 20/20. Well done to them and they will definately grow as a cricketing country!
r.e Ryan Haire.... I hope your right, its just hard to replace that quality and experience so close together
Apologies,
I meant Victoria's (Non-legendary) other fast bowler!
Ireland have beaten the much fancied U.A.E. who up until today were unbeaten in the tournament so far !
Alex Cusack did the bulk of the damage with the ball, but not before the N.C.U. fast bowler Peter Connell, had ripped through the Emerites opening batsmen. And Andrew White, again one of the 'Not-out' batsmen!
One more game tomorrow and with victory over the 'Dutch', were on the road to the 20/20 world-cup.
Vic Jons is the 'name', Victoria's fast bowler and Irish Cricket supporter, but sure you know that already!!!!
Re Ryan Mc Carter
Demise? Not so sure. A wealth of talent coming through which has and will continue to have more financial and back-up support year on year...
RE: Ivan McCombe
Thank you for clearing that up for myself and all those who veiwed the posting yesterday for it to be deleted 15 minutes later.
I wish you and all at the club all the best for the coming season and for future years with the development of your club.
PS - I would say you will be alot of peoples favourites this year with the quality of players you already had on board plus the arrival of Wayne and Ralph as well as the return of Baggers.
I see that Simon expresses doubts about Dundrum being a "graveyard" - having had certain problems getting in & serious difficulties getting Jean out due to the hospitality of people like Mr. Maguire the term graveyard springs readily to mind!
