park ranger
i think vic will be to good for us, i here hes looking at flights to west indies;the world can then look on in amazement.
Andy K.
I have every faith in your judgement and particularly your eyesight, just get the LBW decisions rite,if your down at Lurgan Pk.and I am bowling!!
To you guys with the 'silly names' all I will say is; "Watch this space"!!!!
I think we'll be starting outdoors at the start of April, but sure your well oiled new bat can be put to use at the indoor nets, starting the 1st March.
Lets see if Vic's bowling practice over the winter months has paid off!
Park Ranger and Vic Jons, when's the outdoor practice starting, new bat oiled and rearin' to go.
I have just been reading on another forum about the facilities at Stormont and I throw this is for the delectation of the forumites - as the Maynard Sinclair Pavilion is a "government" building it is covered by equality legislation and consequently the dressing room doors display both a numeral and in Braille. This also extends to the room used by referees and umpires! No further comment!
I see where your coming from now Park-ranger,I was thinking you were someone else! Between yourself, Robert Street? Lurgan-scout? Maralin duck? and that fella Gerry Mallin (wonder what became of him!),I just don't know who is who!!
I wish you guys would identify yourselves, please!! Check the N.C.U.site you'll find what your looking for there, 'Park-ranger'??
Chris, like your style but tread carefully,I invited 'Mrs Jons'for a romantic walk in the Park for Valintines-Day yesterday,I substituted the 'Red roses' instead for six well worn red cricket balls and did a bit of bowling while there!
It did'nt go down well at all, suffice to say I'm making my own tea this evening!
But then as us chaps know, women canbe 'strange' to understand at the best of times!!!!!!
Oh yes. Just realised that a qualification may help with a few job applications.
Don't tell the council though, they mightnt be happy if I was caught "double-jobbing"!
What do you want that for, Park-ranger??? Are you feeling alright ?
I will hope to be there Vic! Look forward to seeing you there!
Does anyone know if there are any warm up matches for the t20 in the carribean, I'll be in St Lucia at the start of April for my honeymoon and I might suggest to the wife that it would be nice to see the local cricket ground and if there just happened to be a game on it'd be a complete coincidence!
Does anyone know of any coaching courses being run round Northern Ireland?
Davey if you are there, introduce yourself after the game, both Gerald & I are very regonisable & approachable, might even sign you an autograph if we have the time !
I won't miss that Vic!
That's great Clarence, take it the weather is pleasant out there in April ?
Don't put yourself to alot of bother, the garden shed will do rightly!
Davey the Waringstown-man: Alot of top quality players at your club alright, but don't forget to pencil in the 8th/9th of June at the lawn if your free, some 'legends' of yester-year on show, some coming out of retirement and some still playing!!!
