RBAI RETAIN SCHOOLS' CUP

RBAI have retained the Ulster Bank Schools Cricket Cup with an overwhelming 149-run victory over Belfast High School.

Robbie Kirk, captain of the RBAI senior cricket team with Vicki Bates, Ulster Bank,and team mates after they had defeated the Belfast High School in the final of the Ulster Bank School cup final at Muckamore.

 

"Inst" posted a challenging total of 219 with James Shannon top scoring with 58 - but the High School only managed a paltry total of 70 in reply. Shannon was again the top performer for his side with 4-12 and fellow Irish Under 19 international Paul Stirling  was the High School's top scorer with 30.
