The clashes with West Indies A take place at Stormont in Belfast on Wednesday June 23 and Friday June 25, with prices for a two match deal for adults just £15, and Under 16's a mere £3.
The West Indies have named a strong squad for the games, including Kieron Pollard, Lionel Baker, Nikita Miller, Andre Fletcher, and Devon Smith.
Ireland coach Phil Simmons said of the games against his fellow countrymen: "They have named a very strong touring party, which will provide stern opposition for us. They have a nice blend of youth and experience with some high profile players, who will be looking to gain a regular place in their senior squad. They play an attractive brand of cricket and it promises to be a good challenge for us, but one I'm sure we can meet."
Next up for Ireland at Stormont on Thursday July 15 and Friday July 16 is the visit of Bangladesh, who are currently touring England. Although they lost the first Test against England this week, they won many admirers with their cavalier approach to the game, which made for compulsive viewing.
Opening batsman Tamim Iqbal, captain Shakib Al Hasan and pace bowler Shahadat Hossain all performed well at Lord’s and are sure to entertain the Irish cricketing public.
Adult tickets for these games are priced at £20 for a one game deal, and £35 for the two game option. Under 16's tickets have again been priced on the low scale, with entry for the two games costing just £5.
RSA Chief Executive Philip Smith said:" “The development of Irish cricket will be further enhanced by opportunities to see top class cricket played for Irish audiences. RSA Ireland, as proud supporters of Irish cricket welcome the cricketers of West Indies A and Bangladesh for these unique RSA Series games which will be savoured by Irish fans”.
Cricket Ireland CEO Warren Deutrom sees the games as an important benchmark for the side saying: "We have targeted matches against the lower-ranked full members as the best way of measuring our progress and determining our readiness to step up to the next level. All our players will be aware of the perception that strong results against test-playing countries creates, and the importance of getting the measure of the team we shall be facing in our opening match of the World Cup in February next year."
