IRELAND 'A' TEAM

17 July 2009

Cricket Ireland this morning announced the Ireland 'A' squad for a T20 fixture with Croatia this Sunday July 19.

Reinhardt Strydom captains the team at his home ground, while there is a return to Irish colours for Dom Joyce who has been in such scintillating form in domestic cricket this year. Niall McDonnell from Strabane is another who has been scoring heavily, and he gets a chance at this level for the first time.

Rory McCann from Instonians is the wicket-keeper, while the highly rated Pembroke bowler Allan Eastwood will be keen to impress the selectors.
