ICU Chief Executive Warren Deutrom said, "The Irish Cricket Union is proud that two such great cricketing nations as India and South Africa are coming to Ireland to play each other and against Ireland.

Following last year's hugely successful match at Stormont between Ireland and England, the ICU is delighted that top-class cricket continues to come to Ireland, in the first ever matches between full Test Cricket nations here. These matches will not only continue to put Irish Cricket on the map after the success of the Ireland team at the Cricket World Cup, but should provide a real financial impetus to our objectives for the future of the game.

Last, and perhaps most importantly, win or lose, cricket exposure against the full Test Nations will only assist Ireland's growth at the top table of international cricketing nations, and provide us with the valuable experience against the very best."

Stephen Kirkpatrick, Head of Banking, Bank of Ireland NI said "This is wonderful news for all supporters of Irish cricket. It's a great opportunity for Ireland to pit their wits against two of the best teams in the world. Following on their marvellous exploits at the World Cup, this will further increase interest and exposure of the game in Ireland. It's sure to be a marvellous week's entertainment, and as official team sponsor, Bank of Ireland is proud to be associated with it."
