VENUE- The Mall, Armagh
DATE- Saturday August 2nd 2008
The main event of the day will be a cricket match starting at 2pm and featuring teams made up of people who played along with and against Jim from over the years. This will be followed by a “Pig on a Spit” BBQ at 8pm then live music and a raffle from 8 to late. Tickets for the day are priced at £20.
HSBC Bank has kindly agreed to sponsor the day’s proceedings but naturally the organising committee want to raise as much money as possible for this very worthwhile cause. To this end it has been decided to produce a match programme featuring advertisements from as many businesses as possible. If any of the NCU fraternity can support this event if you be greatly appreciated if you could contact James Hamilton on 07775665967 for further details.
This terrible disease called cancer is becoming much more common and people of all ages are increasingly becoming affected. It is not until cancer has come to your own family and friends that people realise how important medical facilities such as the Cancer centre in Belfast are for both the patients and the families. Hopefully this small event can raise some much needed funds for this worthwhile cause.
Please make any cheques payable to the Armagh Cricket Club Charity Cancer Fund.
