They will play Ballymena Academy while last year’s runners-up Coleraine Academical Institution have received a bye and will meet either Campbell Colleger or Methodist College in the second round.
Campbell College and Methodist College are no strangers to each other in the early round of schools’ competition and the two Belfast sides will meet again in the first round.
