Northern Knights and new Woodvale CC all-rounder Ruhan Pretorius has been confirmed as the newest SM Cricket Group Ireland brand ambassador.
Pretorius has scored over 4000 runs during his time to date in the NCU with Waringstown and North Down and is set to qualify for Ireland at the end of next year.
He played a pivotal role for the Comber side in 2020 as they collected the Robinson Services Cup title and also reached the LVS Twenty20 Cup final. The 29-year-old made his Knights debut in August 2019 and scored 96 in his first 50-over game for the Inter-Provincial outfit.
Ruhan commented: "I’m very excited about using SM gear next season and being an ambassador for SM Cricket, as I have only heard brilliant things about the brand".

SM Cricket Group Ireland is the exclusive supplier and distributor of SM Cricket equipment throughout Ireland. The brand will officially launch in January 2021.
